Spiritual Corner -- Let Us Live Out The Image of Christ in The World

Christians, let us reflect on ourselves: “If we say we love God, but we do not bring out in our lives, the qualities of love, initiative, positivity, optimism, self-confidence, patience, devotion, courage, and enthusiasm, we have not lived out God's commandment of love.”

The saintly apostles of God, in sacrificing their lives to follow the Lord Jesus, demonstrated their perseverance and temperament, which were full of love, initiative, positivity, optimism, self-confidence, patience, devotion, courage and enthusiasm. Look at Christians today who are living in the modern prosperous world where secular life and interpersonal relationships are  filled with challenges and traps everywhere. If we don’t know how to take refuge in the Lord’s love, we will soon and easily be swallowed up by the busy and chaotic noise of this world. How much more difficult would it be for Christians of today to follow Jesus?!

Let us take some time from the twenty-four hours in a day to quiet down and pray. In prayer, we ask for the grace of the Holy Spirit to fill our beaten and weary hearts.

Spend a little time, pay the real price, and in quiet meditation, allow God’s life to stimulate our hearts, allowing our words and attitudes to manifest from the inside out, with God’s image of “love, initiative, positivity, optimism, self-confidence, patience, devotion, courage, and enthusiasm.”
