" It is more blessed to give than to receive."

The mission of ShareLife is: "To live the Gospel by providing for those in need."

By supporting agencies that provide for those in need and in line with the values of our faith, ShareLife brings the hands of Christ to those in need.

By supporting ShareLife, we are extending helping hand to some of the most isolated, vulnerable and needy people in our region.   Through Catholic Family Services, people with stress, anxiety, mental illness, anger management, domestic violence and personal crises are being helped.  Many youth in the GTA were given food, shelter, guidance, care and community education.  Youth and adults with development challenges received education, individual and group programs.  Priests and seminarians are being supported in their studies at St. Augustine's and Redemptoris Mater Seminary as well as Serra House.  New immigrants and refugees are being welcome and helped to settle down in Canada.

Pope Francis encourages us to extend mercy to our brothers and sisters through simple acts like sharing food, a place in our homes, or our time. Not only do we no longer remain poor when we do this, we indeed become enriched. Supporting ShareLife reinforces the message of the Gospel to the marginalized as we become the hands and feet of Christ to those in need.

'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' Together we can work wonders.
