Rabbi Eliezer Diamond (Associate Professor of Talmud and Rabbinics, Jewish Theological Seminary) will explore various models and examples of friendship presented in the Hebrew Scriptures and the Greek Philosophers. This session, which is part of a series on friendship, will provide us with insight into our shared biblical and western heritage as well as an understanding of the place of friendship in our communitarian and spiritual lives.
