親子會

Parents are the principal and first educators of their children. In this sense the fundamental task of marriage and family is to be at the service of life (CCC, 1653).

The Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason the family home is rightly called "the domestic church," a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity (CCC, 1666). 

Increasingly aware of the important role for parents, our parish formed the Parenting Group in April 2014. 

Our mandate is as follows: 

• to enhance parent's knowledge, skills and confidence to raise their children according to Catholic faith,
• to foster a close connection among parents by building a network for sharing practical knowledge, practices and useful tips. 

We have organized various activities, ranging from parenting talks and workshops, kids’ workshops, parish tour, forest walk, snowshoeing and family camp.
