Lent & Easter 四旬期及復活節

聖灰瞻禮標誌著四旬期的開始。四旬期是一個祈禱和做補贖的時期，基督藉此引領我們回歸領洗時的承諾： 死於罪惡，活於天主。 

2026年的聖灰瞻禮是 2月 18日。

2 月 18 日 (星期三) 是聖灰禮儀，上午 8 時 (粵語)、 11 時(粵語) 及晚上 7 時(國、粵語) 彌撒中，將為教友施放聖灰。從該日開始教會禮儀年進入四旬期，教會鼓勵教友在四旬期內多行克己、守齋的神功，同時辦妥善告解、行愛德善功，求天主寬赦眾人之罪！雖然當日適逢農曆年初二，仍鼓勵教友守大小齋。

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the liturgical season of Lent. Lent is a time of prayer and penance, when Christ wants to lead us back to our baptismal pronmises of dying to sin and of living for God. 

In 2026, Ash Wednesday falls on February 18.

February 18 is Ash Wednesday. Ashes will be distributed during the 8:00am (Cantonese), 11am (Cantonese) and 7:00pm (Mandarin and Cantonese) masses. Even though it is the second day of Chinese New Year, abstinence and fasting is highly recommended.
