四旬期活動

苦路善功

四旬期內藉著拜苦路，我們能默想主耶穌為我們所受的苦難，並反省在生活中如何實踐耶穌的教導。鼓勵教友踴躍前來參與。

苦路善功日期時間如下：

• 粵語：四旬期內由 2 月 16 日起 (逢星期五 - 晚上 7 時)。
  • 3 月 1 日 (3月 第一個星期五) 早上 8 時彌撒後朝拜聖體至下午 6 時。7 時開始拜苦路。(當晚首瞻禮六晚上彌撒取消。)
• 國語：2 月 17 、 3 月 2 及 16 日 (星期六 - 晚上 7 時 45 分)
• 英語：2 月 24 及 3 月 9 日 (星期六 - 晚上 7 時 45 分) 及 聖週五 - 早上10時
  鼓勵家長帶領家中孩童來參與。

四旬期國語避靜 - 靈修組舉辦

• 日期: 3 月 3 日 (星期日) 
• 時間: 下午 1:30 至 6:00 
• 地點: 地庫陸之樂堂
• 神師: 盧智軍神父
• 主題: 「新的生命」

教友可於 2 月 17、18 日 國語彌撒後在大堂攤位報名登記。歡迎教友踴躍參加。 

四旬期粵語避靜 - 靈修組舉辦

• 日期: 3 月 9 日 (星期六) 
• 時間: 早上 9:30 至下午 2:30
• 地點: 地庫陸之樂堂
• 神師: 袁銘成執事 (來自美國西雅圖)
• 主題: 「知己知彼才可得勝」

教友可於 2 月 24、25 日及 3 月 2、3 日 各臺彌撒後在大堂攤位接受登記。費用全免。歡迎各教友踴躍參與。

四旬期告解日

為讓我們作好準備，迎接復活慶節，教區內

所有聖堂將安排為教友聽告解，使我們能真正更新悔改，體驗天主的愛。希望大家能安排時間前來與主、與人修和，準備過一個有意義的復活節。

  時間： 上午 10時 至 中午 12時

  日期： 3 月 20日 (星期三)
  時間： 晚上 7時 至 9時 

聖灰禮儀

2 月 14 日 (星期三) 是聖灰禮儀，教友於該日當守大小齋。即日開始教會禮儀進入四旬期，鼓勵教友在此四旬期內應多行克己、祈禱及守齋的神功，同時勤辦告解、行愛德善功，求天主寬赦眾人之罪！教友於該日當守大小齋。

聖灰禮儀彌撒中，將為教友施放聖灰。

• 上午 8 時 (粵語) 及
• 晚上 7 時 (國、粵語)

當晚由 6 時 15分起將有穿梭巴士服務。往來本堂及 St. Augustine Catholic High School 之停車塲。

Lent Events Schedule

Stations of The Cross during Lent

Starting from February 16 and throughout Lent, there will be ‘Stations of the Cross’ as the following schedule.

• Cantonese: starting February 16, on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m.;
  • On March 1 (the first Friday of March), the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin after the 8:00 am mass and finish at 6:00 pm. Stations of the Cross will start at 7:00 pm. Holy Mass in the evening will be cancelled.
• Mandarin: on February 17, March 2 & 16 (Saturday - at 7:45 pm); 
• English: on February 24 & March 9 (Saturday - at 7:45 p.m).

Through making the spiritual pilgrimage of prayer, we meditate on Christ’s sufferings and death and examine how we practise the teachings of Jesus in our daily lives. Parishioners are encouraged to take part in this devotion. 

Lent Reconciliation

Let us grasp this opportunity to make a good confession, to reconcile with God and our neighbors, and to prepare ourselves for Easter.

  Date: March 20 (Wednesday)
  Time: 7:00pm ~ 9:00pm 

Ash Wednesday

February 14 is Ash Wednesday. Abstinence and fasting should be observed on that day. During the Lenten season, Catholics are encouraged to lead a life of prayer, penance, abstinence and almsgiving while meditating on the passion of Jesus and begging for the atonement of sins.

Ashes will be distributed during the Masses.

• 8:00 am (Cantonese) and
• 7:00 pm (Mandarin and Cantonese) 

Shuttle bus service between church and St. Augustine Catholic High School will begin at 6:15 pm.
